Summer Camp is fast approaching~
We were able to rent a coach bus for the ride to summer camp! 🙂 Please arrive on Sunday July 13th at 6:00 a.m. at the Jarrettsville Park and Rec parking lot just west of Jarrettsville Elementary School. We anticipate the travel time to be approximately 6-7 hours.
So that we can be prepared, here is what you will need for the ride to camp:
1. Bagged Lunch, drinks and snacks for the ride up
2. Money for the ride home. This money needs to be in a safe place where you WILL NOT spend it at camp.
3. A bathing suit and towel, with you on the ride up. We will be taking our swim test immediately when we get there. Please have them in a separate carryon bag that you will bring on the bus.
4. Wear your class B for the ride up.
5. Hats are STRONGLY recommended.
Also
1. You may use your electronics to and from camp. It is a long ride. Bring something to entertain yourselves. Please bring a pre-labeled baggie with your name on it to store the electronics in upon arrival to camp. No electronics are allowed at camp.
2. Please complete your merit badge prerequisites. They will need to be signed off by Mr. Dwight PRIOR to camp, so please contact him at 410-937-8320 once you have completed them.
3. Remember to check the troop website for pack list and other important information.
4. Several families still need to turn in OTC medicine forms, permission slips, medical forms or insurance cards. Scouts will NOT be allowed to go to camp without this information and it will NOT be accepted the day of departure. Ms Pam has sent out a list of what is needed. Please get that information to her no later than then this Friday June 27th. Part C medical forms will be accepted up to July 7th. You may contact Miss Pam at lznmurray@yahoo.com
