I would like to congratulate and recognize ALL the scouts who participated in this past weekend’s mystery hike and wilderness survival campout. You came, you conquered and forever left an impression on me as to what our troop can accomplish and what fine young men each of you are. Your attitude and scout spirit was incredible as you hiked in the darkness in the wee hours of Saturday morning, setting up camp on a cliff and then enduring the 24 hours wilderness survival training. I could not be more proud of each and every one of you. I would especially like to recognize our newest scouts – Dylan Coleman, Reid Bycoffe and Ryan Demos who have only been in the troop 1 week before rising to the challenge. All are future leaders and were fun to camp with. I would also like to thank the adult leaders who took time away from their families to make this experience possible for our boys – Martin Bobbin, John demos, Scott Gromacki, Shane Rymer and Christian Posko who selfishly gave of their time and personal comfort.
