First, another great campout at Assateague this weekend! Congratulations to all of our hard workers for their great effort on the dune fence service project. Assateague State Park greatly appreciated your help in protecting the future of the dunes.
Second, as mentioned at the end of the campout – please remember to thoroughly check for ticks! Those little critters love the grasses of Assateague.
Third, the Muddy Run trail cleanup is this Sunday at 9:00.
Remember our great adventure during the Mystery hike/Wildness survival campout at the beautiful Muddy Run section of the Mason-Dixon Trail? As we talked about during the campout, we are returning to the trail to help do a trail cleanup and relocation of some of the more dangerous sections.
Please meet at JUMC this Sunday at 9:00 a.m. Bring your own work gloves and water and if you have any of the following tools, we could use them as well: Clippers, hedge trimmer, trash bags and lopes
Finally, there are multiple calendar changes for June.
The Spring Court of Honor will be on Sunday June 7 at 2:00 p.m. at JUMC.
The next troop meeting will be on Sunday June 14 at 3:30 p.m. at JUMC.
